Gold Team Selection Procedure

Our Gold selection process would be a tiered set up allowing the "veteran" team to pick the best quality players for their team during tryouts. We will try to staff the teams with the overall best interests of our organization in mind, whichever girls are not chosen for the "veteran" 18 Gold team, would next be considered for the "entry level" 18 Gold team. As discussed, the "veteran" team would try to fill their roster with mainly seniors and juniors, while the "entry level" team would mainly hold some juniors, sophomores and possibly some freshman, of course this would vary on a case by case basis considering each player's talent level as well.  Both teams won't  compete for players, and the coaches will consult a lot as we select the two teams. It has worked well for several other organization with two gold teams and the Executive Board believes it will work for the Breeze Organization.

Coaching Staff Rotation

There is also a recommendation from the Executive Board in regards to going to a coaching staff cycle amongst the 16's, 18G "entry" and 18G "veteran". Each Head Coach would move up each year and cycle from 16's to 18 G "entry" then to 18G "veteran" and then back down to 16's again to develop a new team to take up through the 18G again. This will need to be presented to the General Membership for a vote prior to implementing this recommendation in the winter of 2008
